Belarus: 29.12.2010 Poland will issue free national visas for Belarusians
Spokesman for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Marcin Bosacki announced that from 1 January visas to Poland will be free of charge for the citizens of Belarus.
In view of the situation in Belarus after presidential elections held on 19 December and ensuing political repressions, Polish authorities decided to waive fees for national visas (category D) for the citizens of Belarus.

The decision comes into effect on 1 January 2011. Until now, to receive this type of visa Belarusians had to pay 20 €.
