Belarus: 29.01.2011 Belarus and Israel without visas
Belarus intends to discuss this year the issue of lifting visas between Belarus and Israel. Visa waiver will be carried out in several stages.
Israel has already lifted visa regime with Russia and is currently planning to do the same with Ukraine.
On 12 January Israeli Minster for Tourism announced his willingness to waive visas for Belarus. Israeli ambassador to Belarus declared that Belarusian side is ready to start negotiations. First consular consultations concerning visa policy took place at the end of 2008, when it was settled that visa regime between Belarus and Israel will be lifted gradually.
