Belarus: 03.03.2011 Swedish MP denied Belarusian visa
Christian Holm, member of the Swedish parliament was denied entry to Belarus. Mr. Holm wanted to visit Belarus in order to meet in Minsk with the members of the Belarusian opposition, social activists and independent journalists.

His request for a visa has been rejected by the consulate in Stockholm. Christian Holm, widely known for his fierce criticism of Lukashenko’s regime, is among the most active Swedish politicians committed to the Belarusian cause.
