Now Poland is preparing to take over the rotating presidency of the EU Council for the first time, starting from 1st July 2011.

Since Poland was one of the initiators of the Eastern Partnership project, it is only fitting that progress in the visa liberalisation process for the EaP countries has been included among the priority objectives of the Polish Presidency.
