25th February 2012, at 11.00-19.00, The Analytical Center of Globalization and Regional Cooperation in partnership with The Friedrich Ebert Foundation and The Batory Foundation will held a conference on the issue of:
“The EU and the Eastern Partnership countries: prospects and barriers for the visa liberalization”.
The meeting will be attended by Joanna Fomina – Stefan Batory Foundation (Poland), Iryna Sushko –Europe Without Barriers (Ukraine), Leonid Litra – Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (Moldova), Stepan Grigoryan – ACGRC (Armenia), Soso Tsiskarishvili – European Integration Forum (Georgia), Elenoora Vergeer – EU Advisory Group to the Republic of Armenia, Naira Gevorgyan –Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation (Germany) and Boris Navasardian – Yerevan Press Club (Armenia).
The discussion will include the regional approach to the problem of visa facilitation procedures (Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova cooperation with the EU structures on the issue) and the Coalition for the European Continent Undivided by Visa Barriers main goals and prospects presentation.
