“Negotiation mandates for visa facilitation and readmission agreements were prepared by the Commission and approved by the Council in November 2008. Negotiations started in April and were to be finalised in November 2009. Georgia signed a Joint Declaration for an EU-Georgia Mobility Partnership with the EC and interested EU Member States.”
