Review of recent developments in visa liberalisation between the EU and EaP, February 2013

The Index is a project of the Visa-free Europe Coalition, led by the Stefan Batory Foundation. It presents the independent monitoring findings of visa liberalisation process between the EU and the EaP states. It is updated every four month.

Please, find below a policy brief presenting the main changes in the latest edition, including:

  • Georgia properly implements Readmission Agreement with the European. Approval rate of readmission applications is above 90% (data from 19 November 2012, Georgian MIA);
  • Moldova is currently developing Council on Prevention and Combating Discrimination and Ensuring Equality;
  • Armenia has developed and adopted a National Strategy and Action Plan for Combating Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing for 2013-2015 aimed at fulfilling 40 FATF recommendations.
