Moldovans Can Travel Visa-Free to EU
Moldovan citizens can travel visa-free to the EU starting April 28th.
Moldovan citizens will be able to travel visa-free only with their biometric passports for a period of up to 90 days over half a year. The right to travel without a visa does not imply the right to work in the EU countries.

If the travel rules will be violated, the citizens will risk fines of up to three thousand euros or will be prohibited from entering the Schengen area for a period of up to five years.
The countries to which citizens can travel without visas starting 28 April are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Romania, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
With the occasion of the liberalisation of the visa regime with the EU, the pro-European coalition will organise a concert on the Great National Assembly Square on 29 April.
