Russia: Henri Malosse Calls on EU to Negotiate a Visa-Free Regime
Henri Malosse, the President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), has called on the EU to negotiate a visa-free travel regime for Russian citizens. Malosse also criticised the EU’s decision to freeze negotiations with Russia on the matter.
The article recalls that one of the first measures taken by the EU to punish Russia for its role in the Ukraine crisis was to suspend negotiations on visa liberalisation.
