Armenian police discusses work of passport services during upcoming presidential elections

During the meeting with the officers of the passport and visa department, the deputy chief of Armenian Police Service, Major-General Artur Osikyan stressed the organization works of the upcoming presidential elections, elimination of registry errors, and smoothing the misconceptions in the population census lists.

According to him, it is important for the passport services to work in good faith and with responsibility.

At the meeting, the parties discussed a number of issues that are specifically related to the performance discipline, register data accuracy, and elimination of gaps.

Artur Osikyan demanded that the heads of the public service voice any technical problems requiring solutions in time.

“You should be able to work with the citizens, for them not to leave unpleased. Every one of you must take their job and humanitarian mission of police with most serious and responsible approach,” Artur Osikyan said.
