Indonesia Introduced a Visa-Free Regime with Ukraine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia reported on the enactment of the decree of the President of Indonesia, which cancels the need for visas for short visits to the country. Press-service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry released relevant information.

According to the decree of the President of Indonesia, visa-free regime is introduced in respect of the owners of the ordinary, service and diplomatic passports who make short trip to Indonesia, up to 30 days.

At the same time, visa-free regime does not apply to those who come to the country as a journalist.

“Ukrainians can travel to Indonesia without a visa for tourism, family visits, for exchange in the field of art and culture, the implementation of short-term government job, lectures and seminars, attend meetings of the main offices or branches of international companies, transit to other countries” – the agency said.

It is also noted that in order to obtain a residence permit in Indonesia Ukrainian citizens must present a passport valid for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in the country, as well as a return ticket or ticket to another country.
